CBT
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment which has been demonstrated to be effective for a wide range of mental health problems including depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse and eating disorders.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful psychological treatment. Scientific research shows it may be effective for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Additionally, clinicians have also successfully used EMDR as a treatment component in the management of complicated grief, phobias, panic attacks, performance anxiety and depression, among other mental health issues.
Schema Therapy
Schema Therapy is an innovative, integrative therapeutic approach that combines elements of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic concepts, attachment theory, and emotion-focused therapy. Schema Therapy is particularly well-suited for treating entrenched, chronic psychological problems, including personality disorders and eating disorders. It is also often effective for relapse prevention with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
ACT
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is an empirically based and action-oriented approach to psychotherapy that is focused on increasing psychological flexibility. Its name stems from one of the core messages: accept what is out of your personal control, and commit to action that improves and enriches your life.
